Robots

Robots:-

                Robots are computer controlled machines that mimic or copy the body movement activities of humans. Some toys which work like robots have been made for entertainment , but mostly the concept of building robots is to carry out the repetitive and dangerous jobs Different kinds of robots   are made according to job nature and can be programmed to do more than one task.

 

      There are three types of robots:-

1                  Industrial Robots

2                   Perception Systems

3                   Mobile Robots

 Industrial Robots:-

                                They are used in factories to perform certain assembly-line tasks. For example in automobile industry to do welding, painting, loading , cutting sheets etc. In garment industry, they are used for cutting patterns of fabric , sewing , embroidery etc. Some robots have claws for picking up objects.

Perception Systems:-

                                      Some robots are designed to react like human senses or near to human senses. These robots have the ability to see , touch , smell and judge. They are used for playing music , security systems, fire alarm systems , auto focusing in modern cameras , inspecting production , identifying and sorting parts etc.

Mobile Robots:-

                            Some robots work like transporter, such as mail-mobiles, which are used to carry mail through one office to another. They are preprogrammed and also have the capability to pick or drop things with the help of their robotic arms
